This speed switch is ideal for applciations in which slowdown or stoppage of equipment is unwanted. It is most commonly applied to drive trains, crushers, screw conveyors, exhaust fans, power driven components, belt conveyors, elevators, etc. The speed switch has an Explosion-proof housing for use in  the following environments: Class I, Div I (C,D), Class II, Div I (E, F, G), and Class III.
