Brixon 2HB #2 Latch Body, Handle and Strike, Sparkproof Brass

The Brixon 2HB #2 Latch Body, Handle and Strike is a brass explosion relief latch. This industrial oven door latch is often used as a explosion relief latch or as a spring relief latch on industrial oven doors.

Brixon is a great choice for door latches because they offer the widest pressure release range of any Factory Mutual (FM) approved explosion venting latch manufacturer, from as low as .01 PSI to pressure in excess of 3,000 pounds per door (using multiple latches).

Release Force: Adjustable: 10-45 lbs. (4.5-20.4 kg.)

Handle Options: Available with handle (#SP2A-H Aluminum or without handle (#SP2A-P Aluminum)

Housing Materials: 319 Aluminum. Handle is 713 Aluminum.

Internal Parts: All internal parts are brass except “E” clips and spring are stainless steel. Pin through cam and roller is phosphorus bronze 544. Spring is 17-7 stainless steel.

Offset Mounting:

• 0-3/16" use Regular strike
• 1/4"-7/16": use 1/4" Shim
• 1/4"-9/16", 5/8"-13/16": use #2 Adj. strike
• 3/4"-1": use 3/4" Shim
